Coloring Book
In this series, I present five b&w photographs that depict certain areas of Usti nad Labem. I’ve manipulated them through the process of adding white scratches onto the image. These images represent a typical city scape – „genius loci“ – of the town. I’ve used black and white technique to illustrate the old industrial style and bad organisation of the communist era.
Usti nad Labem has been my home for the last five years. For me, the home is a special place and I am not just concerned with it’s immediate surroundings but the area as a whole.
